So, I saw some Contenders BK & Trilogy HK opened today.
The Contenders was solid for sure. Out of 5 boxes, I saw a Blake Griffin, Tyreke Evans, (2) Thabeets, Casspi, Taj Gibson and several others. All the autographs were on card which was very nice. The only bad part was that some of the autographs were bubbling up a little bit. Apparently, Panini didn’t make the surface very good for autographs. Not a bad break at all though.
I saw a case of the Trilogy HK. It was alright. The autographs didn’t really impress me. I remember seeing a lot of high end autographs last year like Crosby, Ovechkin, Price, Malkin and others. However, there seemed to be a lot more short printed RCs. In the case there were at least 5 or 6 guys numbered to 499 including Tavares. There were some cool memorabilia cards as well. I saw 2 6-player jerseys that usually sell pretty well on the bay. There was one Dual auto in the case and not nearly as many redemptions as last year. So, all-in-all, not a bad product.
The 2010 Topps Jumbo should be in tomorrow, so we can start shipping then. Also, I heard the SPA FB should definitely be in next week. Hopefully, there won’t be too many redemptions since it was delayed a bit.
