Jason Heyward continues to rack up the hits and HRs for the Atlanta Braves. He tired the game last night in the 9th inning with a HR. He’s absolutely on fire.
Products continue to rise in the marketplace. It’s crazy how much some of this stuff is going up. I’m trying keep my prices as reasonable as possible. Every single product is going up right now. 2010 Bowman has gone absolutely insane. You could have bought them when they first were put out there and made $200 a case just by re-selling them.
This is true with so many products right now. I would definitely suggest pre-buying products early. Products used to come out and only go down. This led to smaller amounts of pre-sold items. And I didn’t blame anyone for not pre-buying. However, that’s just not the case now. Most products are going up each week leading up to the release. This is happening with a lot of the 2010 Football products now. Elite and Prestige have already started to creep up.
It should be interested to see how this impacts the single card market. Some singles have already started to shift up on eBay. This should only continue to go up as the box prices go higher.
The next few months ought to be interesting. 2010 Bowman and 2010 Topps 2 both will continue to increase as they get closer to release. I am intrigued to see if the products can maintain the price once they are released. I feel like a lot of products are going up with little to do with content. Time will tell if this continues.
