2010 Bowman Baseball only about a week away!

Well, Bowman Baseball is almost here.  Only a little more than a week to go.  This product has had an enormous build-up and hype.  I sure hope it lives up to it.  I think the product will be good, but I just hope it’s as good as people think it will be.  The checklist sure looks to be strong.  I’m very curious to see how Strasburg’s first MLB autographs sell.  In addition to this, I am interested to see what kind of value is attached to a Bryce Harper Bowman Chrome card.  My only fear is that the product has gone up so much that it won’t deliver value.  However, I don’t think this will be the case with as much content as there is in there.  Even a “bad” box should still deliver some decent hits.  It’s not like some years where you had to hit 2 or 3 certain autographs to get a good card.  With all the Chrome autographs in there plus the USA Chromes, it shouldn’t take a lot to hit a nice card.  It will certainly be an interesting release after a few weeks of nothing.

Nothing new this week.  It’s the calm before the storm, so to speak.  I think there is one new product called Historical Autographs releasing.  However, I didn’t get any of it and I’m not too sure about it really.  It could have some interesting stuff, but it’s basically PSA/DNA index cards.  There are some awesome names on the checklist, but lots of bad ones filled in.  I’d love to hear from anyone who opens it though.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Get plenty of rest this week because we’re all going to need it for next week.

Thanks,

Josh
