So, I was lucky enough to go to the Braves/Nationals game last night at Turner.  To say the least, I was very impressed.  Ivan’s mitt was popping big time as Strasburg was bringing the heat big time.  I have to say that his change-up appeared to be his best pitch.  Several Atlanta hitters couldn’t get a read on that one.  It was unfortunate for his defense to crumble in the 7th.  He should have walked away from that inning with zero on the scoreboard.  Instead, the Braves put up 4 of his runs (only 3 earned).  Needless to say, I was still very impressed.  Here is a photo from the game.

With Allen & Ginter releasing this week, we finally have another product with Strasburg content in it.  I do wish that Topps had made him a little easier to get, but it should be fun to chase the cards.  And he does have autograph redemption cards in the product as well.
