We had a few Rookies make an impact this week in the NFL. It was nice to see after a slow Week 1. Here are some of the stats from the Rookies this week:
Sam Bradford QB Rams- 14 for 25, 167 yards and 2 TDs
Jimmy Clausen QB Panthers- 7 for 13, 59 yards and is starting in week 3!
Jahvid Best RB Lions- ABSOLUTELY WENT OFF! 17 carries for 78 yards and 2 TDs to go with 9 receptions for 154 yards and 1 TD.
Demaryius Thomas WR Broncos- 8 receptions for 97 yards with a TD.
Golden Tate WR Seahawks- 1 reception for 52 yards and 2 punt returns for 82 yards.
Aaron Hernandez TE patriots- 6 receptions for 101 yards.
Mike Williams WR Buccaneers- 2 receptions for 54 yards with a TD.
Antonio Brown WR Steelers- Took the opening kickoff back for a touchdown!
Dez Bryant WR Cowboys- 2 receptions for 52 yards and 3 punt returns for 66 yards including 1 TD.
Hopefully we will continue to see more production out of these guys going forward. I was especially impressed with Golden Tate. He seemed to break out big time after being a healthy scratch in the first game.
